Reproduction: asexual

the head plate enlarged to cover the entire back, the eyes are of two pairs, far apart to give good depth perception, eyesight is very good. pectrol fin and tail are feathery to collect microbes and force them into the gill/mouth to move it pumps water through the gill/mouth and out a pair of holes in the head plate. it has a well controlled float bladder for moving up and down.

LOL HISTORY: to make shell production easier the ribbon lumos began absorbing microbes for nutrients, they also would use the microbes for energy, the gill became larger and the pecrol fin used to push water into it. to defend against predators the head plate became larger and larger, to deal with sinking problems due to the enlarged head plate it grew a float bladder. the body turned upwards until vertical, the head plate developed holes in its sides to lower water resistance, these holes eventually moved inward and connected to the gill, the tail became useless and started pushing water into the gill too.
